After our trip to Maldives, I fixed all the requirements for my new job. Yes, I was between jobs that time so I was able to go on a 2 week vacay.
Anyway, got my NBI clearance, had my medical check up. My med check up was a super memorable one. Good thing HealthFirst really have great medical technicians/nurses. I filled out a form and left the “Last Menstrual Period” blank. I’m irregular so I didn’t really keep track of my period. Since it was blank, they required me to take a pregnancy test before conducting my X-Ray (Since if ever I was pregnant, the radiation is bad for the baby) so I became a bit irritable “Do I have to?! Ugh!” Okay fine… It took around 10 mins. Was texting with Carlo and my best friend, Kriska – joking about what if the results of the PT came out positive. Well, lo and behold – my name was called, they gave me the results and it was indeed positive. I was worried and excited at the same time so my mind and my heart got really confused what to feel. I was happy and excited because I was having a baby with the love of my life. Was nervous because I wasn’t married yet and who knows what my parents would say. Sooo… NO Xray then. They let me go home.
Carlo was with me that day so I couldn’t wait to tell him. Showed him the results and said “Love, positive.” I was surprised with his reaction because he was super happy! “Talaga?!” (Really?!”) It was a relief to know that he was happy about it. On our way back to the car, I saw him sweating – feeling nervous about what or how to tell my parents about it. Until finally we did – of course.
Oh I forgot to tell you – NO! the baby wasn’t made in Maldives. I was already 4-5 months pregnant! I didn’t feel anything at all! So when we were in Maldives, I was already pregnant. LOL.
Of course we met up with an OB – caught up on vitamins and all. 🙂 SO I guess no travelling in July for our 4th anniversary. I’m due on June 18, 2017. 🙂
Can’t wait to embark on a new adventure with my Lovey!
